cpanminus software package provides script to get, unpack, build and install modules from CPAN, you can install in your Debian 7 (Wheezy) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cpanminus
cpanminus is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cpanminus package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cpanminus *
You will get with cpanminus package name, version, architecture and description in a table
